AnimeWorld Expos AMV Contest Entry Form:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dHRpb1ZyQWlYMUNTeEtmdjZMNzJpTWc6MQ#gid=0

Content:
Video entries should consist of video footage at least 75% in the
Japanese style, a.k.a. “Anime” or “Toku Sentai” and an audio track 8 minutes or less. Videos that do
not qualify can be presented for exhibition but will be not eligible to receive an award
from the judges.

Bumpers (titles, credits, studio logos) are discouraged, but not banned. The total
length of any bumper, before and/or after the video cannot be in excess of 10 seconds.

Bumper length will be added to the video length in considering the 8 minute time
limit. All videos will have title cards before and after presentation during the contest.
Do not use corporate trademarks, movie studio logos or “Movie Rating” images that
would imply that your video was created or approved by a real company with real
lawyers.

Videos must be viewable by a general audience to be eligible for a judged award; that
means a PG-13 rating at most. Please especially avoid scenes of sex, drugs, or alcohol
use among characters that appear to be underage.

DO NOT USE SUBTITLED SOURCE FOOTAGE unless the subtitle is part of your
video. You will not be allowed in the judged contest.

Awards:
Judged awards will be given for Best in the categories of Drama, Romance, Comedy, Dance/Fun, Action, and/or Trailer. CATEGORIES MAY BE EDITED AND/OR COMBINED BASED ON NUMBER OF ENTRIES. There will also be an Audience Favorite, which will be determined at the con through voting.

Eligibility:
You must be pre-registered as an AnimeWorld Chicago attendee to participate in this contest.
The person submitting the video must have directly been responsible for the creation
of the video.

Number of submissions:
We will accept up to 3 entries from each contestant. Additional entries may be
submitted for exhibition (they will not be judged). If you submit more than one video,
please rank the videos in the unfortunate event that we have to limit the contest due to
a large number of entries.

Additional:
The Host of the AnimeWorld Chicago AMV contest reserves the right to reject any video for any reason, including, but not limited to: content, video quality, video content, sound quality and time constraints. The decisions of the Host is final.
